Visual artist
Venezuelan graphic designer, illustrator, photographer, and visual artist. Her work explores themes such as self-portraiture and performance. She currently lives in Caracas and focuses on personal projects revolving around migration, memory, and archiving.
Her work has been exhibited in Caracas, Miami, London, and Madrid. In 2017, she presented LOVE, her first phototypographic project, at Museo de la estampa y del diseño Carlos Cruz-Diez. In this project, the word "love" took center stage, appearing almost obsessively in her everyday environment.
Her project Avísame que llegaste. Venezuela: Éxodo de mi gente (Let Me Know You are Safe: Venezuela, Exodus of My People), was selected as one of the Top 200 in Critical Mass 2025. It was also part of the second edition of the Creadoras contemporary art competition, which culminated in a group exhibition at Galería de Arte Nacional in Caracas. The Royal Photographic Society (UK) shortlisted her series Postales del Delta (Postcards from the Orinoco Delta). She has received recognition from Communication Arts, Print Magazine, F-Stop, and Ojo Pelao.
Although photography has always been present in her life, the turning point came during the pandemic when she had the time and space to fully devote herself to photography. Since then, she has deepened her training by specializing in street photography and portraiture at the International Center of Photography (ICP) in New York. In 2025 she completed a master's degree at Photoespaña in Madrid.
